Daily scuba diving included for certified divers
All Sandals dives are guided and depths range from 20 to 100 feet.
Certified divers can join our PADI instructors for scheduled and guided dives daily. Enjoy either two one-tank dives in one outing or a one-tank dive in two outings each day!
Resort-certified divers may dive once daily to a maximum depth of 40 feet.

First-Time Divers
The PADI® Discover Scuba Diving Experience* is a short 3-hour program that will qualify you for one open water dive during your stay. Alternatively, enroll in the PADI® eLearning program and complete the 8-hour classroom portion online at your own pace before you arrive.
Certified Divers
If you’re a certified diver, we let you dive every day (except your departure day), twice a day with one tank or once a day with two tanks. We use the very best equipment, the best dive boats, PADI®–trained staff and the most dive sites. Best of all, it’s all included!

Provided the medical requirements are met, PADI certified Sandals guests can dive for free during their entire stay with exception of the day of departure (max. two tanks per day). All dives will be guided by professional staff and equipment is included!

Sandals provides divers top-brand equipment in excellent condition, free of charge. This includes Luxfer or Catalina tanks, SCUBAPRO regulators, Deep Blue fins, silicone masks, snorkels and weight belts. Dive suits are not necessary, but may be rented at additional cost. Guests can use their own equipment if desired.

Absolutely! Guests who are not certified can get certified at an additional cost at the resort. The PADI certification course involves classes, some reading, pool sessions, open water dives and a test. The dive staff at Sandals is professional and will help you through the process. Once certified, you can dive for free the rest of your stay (max. two tanks a day)! PADI certifications are valid outside of Sandals.

There are no hidden costs involved when diving at Sandals. Depending on availability, certified divers can dive for free every day of their stay (max. two tanks per day). Dive suits are not mandatory, but may be rented. Certified divers that haven't dived in a while are recommended to take a short Scuba Review course, at additional cost to brush up knowledge and skills. New divers can get PADI certified at the resort at an additional cost. Equipment is included!

Provided the medical requirements are met, PADI certified guests can book their dives on arrival at the resort. Scuba diving courses are subject to availability and are best booked in advance.

Scuba diving trips are available at all Sandals Resorts. Sandals Resorts with scuba diving facilities on-property include: Sandals Royal Bahamian, Sandals Grenada, Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sandals Emerald Bay, Sandals Grande Antigua, Sandals Negril, Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Ochi. Although all Sandals Resorts provide an amazing diving experience, scuba fanatics especially love the dive sites at Sandals Royal Bahamian, Sandals Grenada, Saint Lucia and Barbados.
